Accompanying programme to the conference
As part of the After Conference, we offer participants the opportunity to take part in an online wine tasting of the award-winning Schlossgut Diel winery on Friday evening from 19:00 to 21:00. For this purpose, we have reserved a specially compiled wine package for you that you can order bindingly until 05.12.2022. For the sending of the wine package and the participation in the online wine tasting, a cost contribution of 130, - € (including shipping costs) will be charged. The online wine tasting will take place in style at Schlossgut Diel and will be musically accompanied by Anna Overbeck.
Diel Castle Estate
The Layen Castle, built in the 14th century, came into the possession of the Diel family in 1802, and the winery is now managed by Caroline Diel, who worked alongside her father Armin Diel for several years, and her husband Sylvain.
The best vineyards are located in the municipality of Dorsheim and are all planted with Riesling. The top vineyards Goldloch, Burgberg and Pittermännchen (today all classified as "Große-Gewächs" vineyards) were classified in the highest category as early as 1901 in an official, Prussian land tax map and still enjoy international renown today. Purity, finesse, fine minerality and a perfectly integrated acid structure, coupled with elegance and melting characterize the wines.
For Caroline Diel, one thing is clear: Great wines need time. And the dedicated winemaker from Burg Layen is increasingly giving her wines this time.

Anna Overbeck
Anna Overbeck is on stage because she enjoys it. Life has given her primal confidence and a great talent, and the Westerwälderin makes more of it. Accompanied on the piano by Walter Born, she provides the musical high pleasure with jazz singing .
Anna Overbeck attended the Landesmusikgymnasium Montabaur, where she first learned saxophone and later specialized exclusively in singing. Prizes and scholarships followed, such as the special prize of the Walter and Charlotte Hamel Foundation (Musical/Chanson 2015) and a one-year scholarship from the Günther Neumann Foundation (2017). She studied Musical Entertainment Theater, consisting of singing, acting and dancing, at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien.
Her first engagement took Anna Overbeck to Dresden on the stage of Semper Zwei. Further appearances brought her to the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin, the Laeisz-Halle Hamburg, the Vienna Musikverein and the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Rhein-Main-Theater in Niedernhausen, the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Ludwigshafen and the SWR-Studios Kaiserslautern, among others.

In order to ensure timely pre-delivery of the wine package to the recipient's address, the registration must be made no later than 06.12.2022.
Delivery will take place three days after receipt of your registration. If you register by 05.12.2022, you will receive the wine package by 08.12.2022 at the latest.
The online wine tasting will take place on 09.12.2022 in the time from 19:00 to 20:30 via livestream.
For the virtual live tasting we use Vimeo.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the winemaker tells something about the origin, the aromas, matching food and gives background information about each wine.
In the live chat, questions can be asked directly to the winemaker. All questions about wine and pleasure will be answered.
The evening event will be recorded and will also be available for streaming viewing afterward until Dec. 31, 2022.
