Fabian Baumer is Deputy Director and member of the Executive Board of the Federal Tax Administration in Bern. He is Head of the Tax Policy Division. Previously, he worked for an international law firm in Zurich and Washington, D.C., and headed the legal department of a cantonal tax administration.

Marc Oliver Bettzüge is Professor of Economics, Energy and Sustainability and Director of the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI). He has been a member of the Expert Council for Climate Issues under the Federal Climate Protection Act (KSG) since 2020. From 2011 to 2013, he was a member of the Enquete Commission "Growth, Prosperity, Quality of Life" of the German Bundestag.

Dr. Jens Burchardt is a global expert on climate change at the Boston Consulting Group and co-founder of the Center for Climate & Sustainability at BCG. He advises clients from the private and public sectors on all topics related to the low-carbon economy and the development of new businesses on topics such as renewable heat, hydrogen, e-fuels and CCUS.

Marcel Fratzscher is President of DIW Berlin and Professor of Macroeconomics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. He is a member of the United Nations High-Level Advisory Board on Sustainable Development Goals. His work focuses on macroeconomics, distribution and integration of Europe.

Stefan Fröhlich was Professor of International Relations and Political Economy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2003 to 2023. He has taught for many years as a guest lecturer at the Collège d`Europe in Bruges, the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw) and the Center for European Integration Studies in Bonn.

Wolfgang Ischinger was Chairman of the Munich Security Conference from 2008 to 2022 and has been President of the Board of Trustees of the Munich Security Conference Foundation since then. He is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and sits on various supervisory and advisory boards, e.g. at DGAP, Atlantik-Brücke, the American Academy, Berlin, and the Atlantic Council, Washington D.C. From 1998 to 2001 he was State Secretary, from 2001 to 2006 Ambassador in Washington and from 2006 to 2008 in London.

Roderich Kiesewetter has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2009. Genia Kostka has been a professor of Chinese politics at the FU Berlin since 2017, where she heads the Institute for Chinese Studies. Her research interests are digital society, environmental policy and political economy with a regional focus on China.

Matthias Kraemer has been Head of Department at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) since 2011. Gunter Mayr has been Head of the Section for Tax Policy and Tax Law at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Vienna since 2012 and teaches at the Institute for Financial Law at the University of Vienna. His research focuses on Austrian and European corporate tax law.

Moritz Schularick has been President of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and Professor of Economics at Sciences Po University (Paris) since June 2023.
